Our Policies
Luminescence's Late Policy
We are an appointment only spa. When you make an appointment with me, my focus is on you; I block off time to cater to your needs. If you're more than 10 minutes behind, your appointment will have to be rescheduled and you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. I do my best to respect everyone's time and to be prompt with every appointment. Timing is everything, arriving too late for your appointment will infringe upon other clients' appointment. I hope you understand and I appreciate your business.
Luminescence's Cancellation Policy
All appointments are subject to my cancellation policy. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must do so 24 hours prior of your scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the service. A no show to your appointment will result in a 100% charge of your service. A credit card must be kept on file when booking an appointment. If the card on file is not able to be charged for the designated fee then a $25 a week late fee will be added to the balance. Once the balance reaches $500, I will pursue a judgement in small claims court for money owed.
Waxing Policy
Luminescence Skin & Body uses soft wax and hard wax. First initial Brazilian wax is full price, you must come back every 4-5 weeks to qualify for the maintenance wax price. If you go over 6 weeks or I have not seen you, you will need to pay the initial full price. Anyone under the age of 18 receiving a service for the first time must have a parent or guardian present at the initial appointment to give consent. I will not wax a child under the age of 13. For intimate waxing, you must be 18 or older.
Child Policy
I write this notice with the utmost respect to the parents in my studio. I am a parent as well and I understand that this can be a sensitive issue. For safety reason, no children under the age of 10 or additional parties may accompany you while you have a service. I love children and hope you understand we cannot disturb other clients and other workers with children running around the building and playing with equipment.
